After 1 1/2 years of GM experience I had realised the server i played on was one of the greatest and unique Servers.
CPServers stands for Competitive Private Servers
Its not the Competing Rank servers on Voting sites (After the Lloyd Korn incident many Mapler's stopped looking for servers)
Its actually much different from what you think.
CPS's are servers that compete through guilds, rankings, RB, Reputation, and Event Points.
I'll go over all of those.
Guilds
Once a player starts the game, he/she has the choice to make a guild to join the race for best guild at the end of each month
Or to join a guild and help compete by GPQ, Guild PVP, and Tournaments.
Note* if he/she were to make a guild, try to prevent from stealing players from other guilds
TO GM's IF a hacker is in one of the guilds and hacking while in a party, Ban the hacker and not the rest of the guild.
Rankings
Rankings reffer to both Solo players, and Guild Players, then the Guild it's self.
Solo players are Players who their world ranking effects the Reputation they earn and at the end of each Month, Recieve Rep points which can give
them certain Donation items Dependant apon How much Rep points they have.
Guild players have another rank, Their rank in their guild.
and the Guild rank is shown on the Guild Rock thingy.
Note* Gms do NOT apply to the Rep points
Rebirths
Rebirth is pretty simple. It applies to the Rep Points and Solo player rankings.
The more Rebirths you have, the more chance you have of getting Rep Points.
Awards given to player with Most RB's at the end of Each Month
Note* GM's dont apply.
Reputation
Ah. Rep. What governs everything.
Reputation is really simple too. The more good you do. The more your known. Foruming really helps with the reputation.
and you get rep points!
Hacking/Scamming/Spamming = Bad Rep therefore rank goes down
Note* GM's have it harder. But do not get Rep points
Event Points
Event points are points or items like.. say. a GS, and you keep them. During the end of the month Event They can perchase an item thats offered then.
The offical event for CPS's is the Mass destruction event.
Its the day when GM's work hard and Events go on all day!
Fashion Shows
T/F
JQ
PVP Tournament
Colour game
Etc etc.
After a few events, the Award's take place!
Awards for, Most rebrirths
Top ranking characters
Lowest ranking character
etc etc.
its on the last day of Each month.
